Seeking God with All My Heart | Reflection on Psalms 119:10-13
In our busy lives, it’s easy to become distracted and stray from what truly matters—our relationship with God. Psalms 119:10-13 (NIV) offers a beautiful reminder of the importance of seeking God with all our hearts and staying committed to His word.
"I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Praise be to you, Lord; teach me your decrees. With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth."
This passage encourages us to pursue God passionately and remain steadfast in His teachings. When we store His word in our hearts, it serves as a guiding light, helping us resist temptation and stay on the right path. Praising God and speaking His truth reminds us of His goodness and strengthens our faith journey.
Reflecting on these verses, I am reminded that seeking God requires intentionality—spending time in prayer, studying His word, and living according to His commandments. It’s a daily choice to trust and obey Him in all aspects of life.
How do you seek God with all your heart? Are you intentional about hiding His word in your heart and sharing it with others?
Let’s commit to deepening our faith and drawing closer to God each day. Remember, His word is our greatest treasure and guide.
